On the wooded heights of the old village of Mayres, crossed by the two rivers of the Ardèche and the Borne, this pretty independent stone mazet, with charming shaded terrace, swing and BBQ on a natural ground, with shrubs, chestnut trees, wild flowers and pretty roses, around a secure and private swimming pool benefits from a very pleasant view on the Ardèche mountains. The interior is warm, with exposed beams, fireplace and wooden mezzanine. You will be in the Regional Park of the Ardéchois Mountains with the delightful region of the 7 lakes (Lake Issarlès or Naussac) and at the foot of the Chavade pass, road to the Auvergne and the High Cevennes. Two thermal spas invite you to relax and unwind, after visiting the various surrounding tourist sites, such as the basaltic flows of the Tanargue massif listed as "the most beautiful in Europe" near the beautiful village of Jaujac, or those of Thuyets called the "Chaussée des Géants" offering an unforgettable view of the valley. In passing, take the "Chaussée du Roi" and the "Echelle de la Reine", two staircases carved in the basalt to reach the famous Pont du Diable.
