Positive: Good location, close to Chamonix Sud bus stop, Aiguille du Midi cable care and a 7-min walk to town centre. Fairly clean upon check-in. Basic 2* flat, fairly priced for what it is.

Negative: For a 2-star apartment we naturally did not have great expectations. Comfortable enough for the price paid. While admittedly it does state in the Important Info section on booking.com that initially supply of linens & towels come at an extra cost, I wonder who actually brings their own linens with them on a plane?! This is the most basic thing to provide in any kind of accommodation, not display an apparently low price then charge extra for linens! This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. If you don't book it prior to check-in, you have to carry it 1km on foot from the agency to the flat. They'd even expect you to take it back when you check out (we couldn't as we had to leave at 7am and office was closed). Not even a roll of toilet paper when you arrive. TV was for decoration. One channel only, hardly working. Didn't report it as we didn't care much for TV but thought worth the feedback. Clothes rack placed in the flat, wrapped in plastic. For what? For the guests to see it's new and unwrap it themselves? There's a balcony but empty, no table/chairs. The agency was difficult to get a hold of prior to arrival. Office is closed for 4 hours between 11:00 and 15:00. Quite a long interval during the season to not be able to communicate with anyone. Called Swiss office multiple times, no answer and no call back. Managed to speak to Chamonix office after their long siesta time. No place to put your clothes in either. Wooden closet in bedroom very rundown, squeaky, filled with pillows and blankets (not the cleanest). About 3 cheap hangers in a tiny closet by the door where they keep house cleaning objects like brooms etc.

Summary: Good location, misleading advertising of price (have to pay extra for bed linens!)
