The Arbousier holiday home is located in the heart of Pézenas, a few steps from the market only, behind the boulevard des antiquaires. The street of the coolers is a small quiet street and characteristic of a small Mediterranean city. The former winemaker's house was built in the 19 th century and now offers all the comforts for a pleasant stay. It has been completely renovated and opened its doors to travelers in the spring of 2014.

On the first floor are an American kitchen, a dining room and a living room in a large open space of about 30 square meters. A French window opens onto a small balcony without vis-à-vis that invites breakfast, coffee or aperitif. The bedroom and bathroom with bathtub are on the second floor. Separate WC.

The house offers 5 comfortable beds: a double bed (160 X 200), a sofa bed (150 X 200) and a single bed (90 X 200). Cot for baby. The kitchen is equipped with a stove with electric oven and a large fridge with freezer and all the necessary utensils to cook good dishes. A washing machine and a tumble dryer in the cellar are at the disposal of our guests. The living room has a TV, a multilingual library and a mini-channel. The house is tastefully decorated: chests of drawers, armchairs, tables and chairs have been carefully picked up and restored, the cushions and curtains are home-made, creations of local artists are placed here and there.

The cleaning fee of 50 Euros is not included in the price. Our guests have the opportunity to clean themselves. All the necessary products are at your disposal.

Summary: The house suited our needs perfectly. It was just around the corner from Rue Conti, a street full of restaurants and shops, leading up to the main square of the town where the public open air market is held every Saturday morning. The beds were comfortable, the living room couch and chairs were well maintained and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. There were a few minor maintenance issues when we first arrived, and Kerstin and Claude were at the house 2 days later to take care of them. All in all, a great stay in the south of France away from the ice and snow of the harsh New England winter.
