Positive: Beautifully appointed villa. Absolutely everything you need and more. Really comfortable beds and good supply of utensils, toiletries etc. Super comfortable all round. Decent size pool and great sized garden ( we were in Jemini which has the largest plot) Met the owners a couple of times and they were really friendly and helpful. Great amount of seating options both inside and out. Lovely sitting on the main balcony which is sheltered whatever the weather Good location, only a couple of minutes walk from main road and the AB supermarket (there's 2 floors - not obvious at all but good to know!) and bus stop to both Corfu town and Paleokastristas in opposite direction. Under 10 mins to Gouvia marina where you can hire a boat. We'd recommend Aurelia yachting. Locally the best restaurant is Pita Pita. Looks a bit rough and ready but it's family owned and the food is authentic and super tasty at very low cost. The rest of the local restaurants are more pricey - you're better heading up to Gouvia where there are some crackers (20 minutes walk).

Negative: There's no internal access to the basement (housing washing machine, additional TV area and sports equipment, other than via a lift which has Staff only emblazoned on it. We obviously used it anyway given the bad weather we had for part of our trip and our teenagers loved the additional space. However, the worry was that, during a power cut, the lift shuts down and had anyone been in the basement at that point, there appeared to be no way to get them out since the garage doors are also electric. There is a manual hatch in the door but not clear but you could go through it. Just one to be aware of. The neighbour's dog 🙄. On arrival we expected to be woken by the neighbouring cockeral but how wrong we were. 06:30 every day, the dog starts barking. It's kept in a cage adjoining efilenia which is really unfortunate.it barks pretty much endlessly throughout the day and has little to no contact with the owners. Such a shame. We were out and about most days so it was manageable but the early morning chorus was not appreciated. Can't understand why it's never been mentioned in any previous reviews.
