La Playa Grande is a stunning single-family home sitting on the shores of Lake Michigan in the sought-after area of Grand Beach. Explore the nearby parks, tennis courts, or golf courses available in the area.
You practically have wall-to-wall views of the lake from the main floor of this unique retreat. A massive kitchen with two islands, two wine fridges, two dishwashers, and all the other high-end appliances a serious chef would enjoy is at your disposal. This family-friendly home boasts seven bedrooms, a home theater room, baby grand piano, card table, pool table, a whole-house sound system, and an infinity pool overlooking the lake.
The front door enters the main level of the house, which consists of a huge open living/dining/kitchen area, all of which overlook Lake Michigan. There are floor-to-ceiling windows along the entire lakeside of this room, including multiple sliding doors that open out to the upper pool deck.
The pool deck has a patio with a fireplace, outdoor television, and a seating area, along with a grilling area with additional seating and a double-wide Viking grill. A flight of well-kept stairs leads down to the lower level deck that is closer to lake level, with loungers for sunbathing and another fireplace to enjoy during cool evenings. Each deck has a space heater as well.
The upper level of the house has five of the seven bedrooms, three of which have beautiful lake views. The lakefront main bedroom is expansive and has a terrific bathroom ensuite. The second and third lakefront bedrooms are large and also have amazing views of the lake. The fourth and fifth upper-level bedrooms are on the east and south side of the house respectively.
The lower level of the house has a large living area with a pool table, ice machine, and bar. The sixth and seventh bedrooms are located on this level and each bedroom is ensuite with its own modern bathroom.
The owners of this high-end home away from home did not miss a thing when designing and furnishing this summer retreat property. La Playa Grande is a home that will not disappoint!
THINGS TO KNOW
The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. (The pool is closed as of September 21, 2022.)
Please note that there currently is no beach at this house, due to Lake Michigan's high water level. There are five neighborhood beaches on the same street of varying quality based on the weather and time of year.
Living room fireplace is closed during summer months.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Security camera details: Front entrance and back yard pointed at the pool. Neither camera is active, they are being used as a crime deterrent when the house is empty.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
