Positive: The hotel is right in front of Zhangjiajie train station, (not the station that you will arrive at ) which is mostly the west railway station ) just a 3-minute walk from the bus station and less than 10 minutes walking to the Tianmen Mountain cable car entrance. It’s within 2-3 bus stops of the hotel, and the surrounding area is full of grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel room was clean and modern, with free laundry service available on the third floor. The staff was friendly, even though they don't speak English—they try to help you explore the area.

Negative: The room is slightly smaller than most hotel rooms in China. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast or any other food. If you plan to explore Wulingyuan scenic area, you can take a bus from the bus station for only 30 yuan and it takes 1:30 hours to reach the area.
