Amsterdam Downtown Hotel Canal View is beautifully situated in the heart of the city center in the Leidseplein (Leidse Square) area. Leidseplein is the most famous nightlife area in Amsterdam. The location of the hotel is on a quiet, beautiful canal - the Leidsegracht.
We have shared mixed & private rooms that can accommodate: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and up to 8 persons. Each hallway has showers and WCs. Some rooms has private shower
Our hotel, set in a former 17th-century warehouse, has a cozy lounge facing the canal where one can relax and socialize and meet other fellow travelers. Next to the reception is a smoking room where you can find vending machines, and enjoy your favorite shows on our flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building.
The hotel is in an old monumental building with no elevators, just steep stairs (which are typical of all historical building in the city center).
The hotel is a few minutes from the famous Van Gogh Museum, beautiful Dam Square, the entertaining Red light district, relaxing Vondelpark, historical Anne Frank House and the best clubs, coffee shops, bars and restaurants and many more great places.
The staff can provide you with great ideas to spend your time in Amsterdam. If you're interested in renting a bike we're happy to assist you with this.

The reservation will be terminated if the hostel does not get authorization on the credit card.
IMPORTANT :
Our hostel main entrance remains open 24 hours however our reception closes at 23:00. Please contact us if you will be arriving after closing hours.
Our smoking room opens from 9:00 AM until 24:00 (night).
If you will be arriving after closing hours, please send us an email to notify us of your expected arrival time. We can then send you instructions and code to enter the building and access your room.
In the eventuality that you will be arriving late and checking-out early the next day please inform us by email 1 day or 2 prior to your arrival date so we can make payment arrangements for any open balance including city tax 12.50% as well as notify you by email of the entrance code and instructions to access your room.
