Summary: Our stay at this property fell far below expectations due to numerous issues. The most serious concern was rodent droppings in the lower kitchen cabinets which raised immediate health concerns. Additionally the overall condition of the property reflected a lack of care and upkeep: - Ceiling leak in the kitchen from upstairs bathroom - An uncovered floor vent in the dining area posed a safety concern - Uneven flooring throughout the home including cracks and chips in the lower level floor - Inaccessible ceiling fan pull chains leaving the fans unusable - Cockroaches and ants on the main floor - Electric outlets in the pergola did not work making that area uninviting during the evening - Disconnected dryer vent - Various building materials and other items were scattered around the unkempt yardWhile the property may appear attractive in the photos, the reality is very different. What is not pictured in the listing is a large, poorly constructed fence that blocks access to the lake and ruins the view from the back balcony. While the owner informed us of the fence and was responsive during our stay (including sending cleaners to address the rodent droppings in the kitchen) I would not recommend staying here.
