The lake is privately owned, with no public access and motorized-boats not permitted. Papkeechie is the ideal place for fishing, boating, and swimming, without worrying about other boat traffic.
The Log Cabin is a great place to get away from it all, and it is a short drive to your favorite vacation activities. In less than a 10-minute drive you can rent a pontoon boat on Lake Wawasee (the 2nd largest lake in Indiana), hit up the golf course, or visit local shops in downtown Syracuse.
