Located just a 5-minute walk a beautiful public beach, this home is a modern, light-filled 2-bedroom, 1-bath getaway with partial views of Rosario Strait and the San Juans. Set on a large, private lot, Matia's high ceilings and open floor plan contribute to the wonderful feel and energy that many of our guests remark upon.
The fully-equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, with an oversized island perfect for cooking and entertaining. Both bedrooms offer comfortable queen-size beds and the bathroom features an oversized soaking tub with shower. A large deck makes for great outside dining in good weather, and overlooks a fire-ring area with lots of dry firewood for our guests. S'mores, anyone? Also available is a convenient electrical outlet and extension cord (on request) for overnight EV charging.
Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit.
*** Please note there is no gas station on Lummi Island and you will need to fill up before you arrive.
*** For guests traveling between April and June. The Whatcom Chief Ferry goes in-to dry dock for maintenance. This means that there is no substitute for a vehicle ferry service and the island is only accessible via ferry for foot passengers and bikes. Dry dock season typically lasts for about 3 weeks and exact dates are posted on The Whatcom County website. Please reach out and we can help you plan your stay!
