This house is a perfect place to gather for families & friends, located on 10 acres on Mt. Nittany, less than 3 miles from Beaver Stadium and downtown. 1 mile to shopping & groceries. The house is comfortable & welcoming with big windows & lots of natural light. Walk out basement has both a ping pong & pool table.
Plenty of private outdoor space and driveway parking. Large kitchen adjoins the great room to create a spacious open area. Enough table seating for a large group. 5 spacious bedrooms upstairs with extra floor space. Master bedroom is on the main level & basement has a queen size murphy bed with full bathroom. Also, plenty of additional bathrooms for a large group.
This is a non smoking home.
Owners have a Bernedoodle who will not be there during rentals.

Summary: Mt. Nittany Hideaway is a real gem in State College. My family and friends stayed at the home for a PSU football game weekend this Fall. We had a large group with multiple families (parents and children). The house easily accommodated our large group. There was plenty of room to spread out, and we never felt on top of each other. The upstairs living room and basement living room provide two very large spaces to hang out. Additionally, the kitchen and breakfast nook are quite spacious and provide additional room to spread out. The house featured plenty of sleeping accommodations that easily met the needs of my large group. There is also a large number of bathrooms throughout the house and multiple showers. The property description of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms is spot on. The house has many other amenities that make you feel like you are right at home… many large screen TVs, DirectTV, sound system and outdoor seating / grill. The house was less than a 10 minute drive to Beaver Stadium and downtown State College. The hosts were very responsive leading up to our stay; very quickly answering all questions and making us feel at home. I recommend the Mt. Nittany Hideaway for any families looking to spend time together in State College.
