Summary: Very clean and comfortable house. Great location near Traverse and a beautiful river view. Great dock and the screened in porch by the river was awesome. Easy access into the river. Well maintained yard.Kitchen was where the place lacked the most. Not a sheet pan in sight. Very small mixing bowls and the cookware needs to be updated. The non-stick is coming off and the size is too small, especially if you had a party of six. Nice to have a gas range though!A better chef's knife would be nice and a second pair of cooking tongs would be helpful. Utensils and serving ware are limitedAlso, usually when I have VRBO'D in the past there would be plastic wrap or Ziploc bags. None of the above was provided. Just toilet paper and paper towels.Bed was ok, small and soft. Sheets and bedding were nice.The umbrella on the table outside needs to be repaired. It's about to fall apart.Just a reminder, no wood is provided for the fire pit. Kayaks are fine but only 1 paddle is in good condition. We accessed the garage because there was no gas on the gas grill so there was a nice surprise of a ping pong table in there and we did enjoy that. The grill was in good condition. The view from the property is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately the roadside noise is loud. You hear more cars than you do River ripples. We did see lots of ducks, deer, a crane.Kayaking the Boardman we used Rudolf Ranch Livery just up the road and there is a nice hike at brown bridge quiet area nearby.
