The beautiful views of Mount Bogong attracted us to this 3 BR cedar holiday cottage.
The cottage was built in the 80s, so a new kitchen and bathroom are being built next year. In the meantime we have set it up with comfort and easy self catering in mind.
Sample the complimentary champagne and chocolates from the spacious deck, living or kitchen, which all share the Mt Bogong view.
Kangaroos visit the garden from the edge of the bush. Our garden is visited by beautiful bush birds, wrens, king parrots, rosellas, gang gangs, finches, currawongs and many more.
Modern furnishings, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen and laundry ensure a comfortable stay.
Mountainview is yours from just $210 a night for 2 adults. Extra people for just the cost of linen hire.

Activities.
Ski at Falls Creek or Mt Hotham.
Famous mountain bike riding both on and off road.
Walk to the coffee shops. . Bushwalking at the doorstep. Golf or tennis perhaps, or swim in the local pool or mountain streams.
Tour Bright Beechworth and Yackandanda; fish the mountain streams; take a picnic to Bogong Village or climb Mt Bogong to be on the highest point in Victoria.
The Mountainview House.
The Mountainview cottage consists of an open plan family living area and kitchen, with lovely mountain views.
The large balcony overlooks Mount Bogong and the Kiewa Valley.
The house is set up high on the side of the valley in the new area of Tawonga Sth in a garden setting. Have breakfast in the sun on the balcony.
The three bedrooms are comfortable with electric blankets, doonas ,spare blankets, pillows, and two bedrooms have built in robes.
The house has reverse cycle airconditioning and heating.
Bedroom 1- queen sized bed and BIR.
Bedroom 2- double bed with a single trundle BIR.
Bedroom 3- double bed and dresser
Bathroom is small with a shower over the bath.
Separate toilet.
Laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Stay a week and get the 7th night free.
Linen is supplied for 2 people. Extra guests pay a one off fee of $60 to cover linen hire for their stay.
As well as being a comfortable cosy cottage Mountainview has all you could require for a relaxed stay away from home. There is a fully equpped laundry with clothes.dryer and washing machine.
The kitchen has a good range of cooking equipment. There is a full sized oven and hotplates as well as a microwave.
With a gas barbeque in the carport.
A deep clean is being done between tenants.
We are supplying more hand wash, disinfectant wipes, and cleaning products for tenants use.
