Our French family home is rural & rustic yet homely! It would suit 2-3 families with young children. It sleeps max 6 adults and 4 children, as the loft bedrooms have low ceilings. (Vrbo states it sleeps 13 beds on the website, this is NOT the case. It's a max of up to 10 people; 6 adults and 4 kids - 6 x singles beds and 2 x doubles.) On the 1st floor, the master bedroom with a shower & basin ensuite. Along the corridor is a main bathroom with bath/shower, loo & basin; a separate loo, the 2nd double bedroom and a twin bedroom. On the 2rd floor there are 2 kids loft bedrooms with mezzanine - perfect for a kids base! It has a large living/dining area downstairs, leading onto the galley kitchen; a small shower room with loo, a basic garage/games area containing a small pool table and tennis table. Outside it has pebble terrace with gazebo and BBQ. The terrace looks onto the long grass garden, at the end of which is the part raised dip pool with security gate. The pool has a heat source pump, but is not heated. Nearby is the fantastic Ploërmel and Lac au Duc; the medieval town of Josselin is also a nearby and wonderful place to visit. There is parking for 3 cars. We love it for relaxing family holidays and hope you will too! It is roughly 5.5hrs drive from Calais.
Please note this is a 300 year old Farmhouse in rural France - it is not a modern dwelling with super fast wifi and all the latest mod-cons. Some appliances are older than others, and some things are a bit rough around the edges, but everything works! If you are after a top end luxury dwelling, then this is not the property for you. We love it and have had many happy holidays here - it's homely and comfortable in a remote, quiet hamlet. Car hire is essential to access shops and local attractions.
There is a highchair and also a travel cot available for little ones - please ask for the Travel Cot to be put out, at the time of booking.
