Royal Cabanas Beach 1 is quiet and secure for families, yet close to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and shops. It has a gated swimming pool, which is safe and secure. There is a tiled area , safe for children to play or sunbath immediately in front of the terrace which makes it easy to keep an eye on them a safe distance from the pool . The apartment has been finished and is kept to a high standard. It is fitted with patio doors opening on to a south-facing terrace with plants overlooking the swimming pool and garden. It is situatated 150m from the waterfront, which is a natural lagoon and nature reserve, where you can walk down the boardwalk and enjoy the lovely view. You can take a 3-minute ride on the water taxi across the lagoon to the main beach with its miles of silver sands or a short 10-minute boat ride to the beach paradise of Tavira Island with its beach bars and restaurants . Cabanas is a small village the apartment is situated in probably the best area of the town just a short walk from many local bars and family owned restaurants serving fantastic fresh local cuisine, there are also shops selling jewellery and local crafts. Everything is in easy walking distance including the supermarket which is only 200 metres away. There is a good bus and train service nearby, with the historical town of Tavira only 5 km away. The Spanish border is only 30 minutes by away by train, with the river Guardiana separating Portugal from Spain with forts either side. Definitely worth a trip. Cabanas has a friendly atmosphere and is safe for children. It is also relatively cheap to eat and drink out. The trains are regular and travel East towards Spain and West towards Faro. Seville is only a couple of hours away . There are Golf courses nearby which makes Cabanas a favourite winter destination for golfers who take advantage of our secure underground car park and south facing terrace.
