The property, originally a farmhouse, was first built in the 18th century. Set in 1.75 acres of land including large garden/orchard to relax in. On the south side there are views to the Montagne Noire behind which are the Pyrenees; to the westside are open views over the orchard towards Lautrec village. If you like bird watching this is the place to stay. To the east is our vegetable field with more fruit trees!

Summary: We had a wonderful week at this lovely conversion. Sheda gave us a lovely welcome, including a fire already lit in the woodburning stove to ward of a chilly evening, and a really lovely bottle of wine from a local vineyard. The property is really well, situated close to delightful villages like Lautrec driving through gorgeous Southern French countryside, but with all the convenience and amenities of the pretty town of Castres just 10 minutes away. There’s brilliant information available about all aspects of your stay, and Tom also popped by to make sure all was working well. Recommended.
