Summary: We had a wonderful family vacation! The house is laid out perfectly for early risers as well as those who like to sleep in. Our hosts have thought of everything! The kitchen is well supplied, there are plenty of linens, board games, bicycles, and beach chairs. The town of Cape Charles is nearby for shopping, dining out, or the kid’s favorite, ice cream! We brought our kayaks and were delighted to see the concrete shops up close, pelicans, and dolphins! The beach was not at all crowded, the sand soft, the water great for swimming and splashing!
