This stunning five-bedroom contemporary perched atop a hill has stunning views of Wellfleet Harbor, the town pier and Great Island. Beautiful architecture, furnishings, fixtures and decor make for a lovely and inviting space for your Wellfleet vacation.
Enter an open and bright main living area with kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room with comfortable seating and gas fireplace has wonderful views of the harbor. The dining table has seating for everyone. An enclosed screen porch with ceiling fan and cozy seating off the dining area is a perfect place to curl up with a book or enjoy a stunning sunset over a bottle of wine. A door from the dining area leads to a balcony deck with outdoor furniture. Sip your morning coffee on the deck as the fishing boats cruise in and out of the harbor. Gas grill just off the door from the screen porch.
You'll find everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal inspired by local fare in the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances, a solid surface cooktop, wall oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip and Nespresso coffeemakers and two sinks. There is plenty of workspace and counter seating.
Just off the living room is a bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a custom tile shower. Off the kitchen is another bedroom with a queen bed, amazing harbor views and a roomy ensuite bathroom with an oversized custom tile shower. There is also a half bathroom and a separate laundry room off the foyer on the first floor.
Stairs from the foyer lead to a second floor bedroom with a queen bed and workspace looking out over the harbor. Note: this bedroom is open (no door at the top of the stairs).
Stairs from the kitchen lead to the lower level. At the base of the stairs is a cozy TV room with comfortable seating and flat screen TV with cable and streaming capabilities. Across the hall is an office with a desk and lounge chair. Further down the hall is a bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom with a custom tile shower and separate deep soaking tub. Beyond the twin bedroom is a bedroom with a king bed (adjustable privacy screen, no separate door from the hall) and a door to the exterior.
Spacious and bright, this gorgeous home filled with lovely furnishings, artwork and books, has several spaces to gather, or to steal away for some quiet time or catch up on emails.
Comforts include central air conditioning, WiFi, cable, washer/dryer, gas grill and two enclosed outdoor showers. Bamboo floors throughout first and second floors, tile in bathrooms, concrete floors throughout lower level.
The indoor spaces are only rivaled by the outdoor spaces. Relax and unwind on the deck off the screen porch, in the yard below on the wooded swing or at the front of the house around the firepit (propane). There are two enclosed outdoor showers--one on either side of the house.
The best part of all? Follow a sandy path from the house to the shared private beach right on Wellfleet Harbor. Spend your days swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing or paddling along the harbor beach. Enjoy use of two kayaks during your stay.
Walk along the shore to Uncle Tim's Bridge for a stroll into town.
Short drive to Wellfleet Center and harbor for restaurants, galleries, shops, live entertainment, fresh seafood and the weekly Wellfleet Farmers Market. Tenant further acknowledges and agrees that where Kinlin Grover undertakes to re-let the property, the rental fee to be charged to the substitute tenant shall be in an amount to be determined in the reasonable discretion of Kinlin Grover and Owner. Tenant agrees that any cancellation of the reservation, undertaken at any time, shall not be effective unless in writing and delivered to Kinlin Grover.
