Gray Whales pass by during their migration and Pilot Whales live in the area year-round! The nearest beach access is just a block away. There is an access road that leads down to Preston Island. This is a rocky beach for the most part but there are sandy stretches for a pleasant walk with your pet (which we are happy to host!). Summary: Easy check-in process and house had an incredible view of the beach and water! Kitchen had necessary basics for cooking if desired. Host graciously did not charge for the little ones accidentally staining placemats with tomato sauce at dinner. WiFi functioned without issues. The bedrooms had portable fans if needed and there were portable heaters available in the house as well. Would love to stay again one day!
