Summary: Lovely old gîte in the heart of farming country. Very well cared for and had everything we needed for a 4 week stay. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms which was great during the heatwave The house has thick stone walls and is naturally cool downstairs. The salt water pool and terrace with long rural views were delightful. Jean- Marc and Danielle are charming and experienced hosts. Always available and accommodating, never intrusive. Thankfully they speak excellent English, if your French is limited. Plenty to do in the summer all around the Tarn area. Albi is charming and relaxed. I highly recommend La Maresque for a summer holiday.
