Positive: Top location, right in the center of beautiful Laren. Central to everything, and within 3-4 min waking from all the top restaurants and cafes. At the same time, it was perfectly quiet and peaceful in the evening and at night which was great for sleeping. Very comfortable and cute apartment spanning the full top floor of a historic home. The apartment contains two separate living areas and sleeping areas; it was more spacious than we expected. Impeccably clean bathroom. Hosts were wonderful, helpful and easy going. They live on the first two floors of the house, so it was easy to get the keys. Breakfast was provided at a small additional fee; this was nicely put together with a variety of items including croissants and eggs, and I believe there was even home made raspberry jam. Overall a fantastic place to stay with great price value. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Negative: Steep stairs, not a problem for us, but could be difficult to navigate for some. Nearby church bells added charm, you could barely hear them especially with windows closed, but you should be aware that they will continue to ring also at night. I actually enjoyed them and it added to the experience.
