Single family home located in a lovely residential neighborhood close to the Harwich Port's Main Street & beautiful Nantucket Sound beaches. This house is a great set-up for families or groups of friends; you will be close to local beaches, shops, restaurants, CCRT bike path, and the Nantucket ferry out of Saquatucket Harbor.
The entire house is one-floor living with the exception of the washer & dryer, which are located in the basement. For our guests with accessibility needs, there are 2-3 steps up into the house on all exterior doorways. The 1st bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and a twin bunk bed, and the 3rd room has a daybed with a pull-out trundle; during summer months starting from Memorial Day till mid-October, the bedrooms (only) will have window A/C units. There is enough parking for up to 4 cars; 2 cars can park in the grass to the right of the driveway. The kitchen includes a coffee station, basic cookware & utensils, and a countertop ice machine. There is a large deck in the back with wraparound bench seating, a grill (can grill with wood, coal, and/or propane), table w/umbrella and chairs, an outdoor shower, and a fire pit.
Propane is not an amenity I supply, there should be a tank under the grill to exchange rather than buy a new one; there are several gas stations around the corner from my house that sell propane. I don’t live close by (it’s our vacation home that we rent out when we’re not using it), so it’s not possible for me to keep an eye on its usage.
There is a pet fee for those wanting to bring their furry family member(s), please mark your reservations accordingly. Please clean up after your pet in the yard (there is a pooper scooper hanging in the garage if you need it); I do chargebacks if guests do not pick up after their pets. If your pet sheds quite a bit, you can find a lint roller in the bathroom shelf to the left of the door as you walk in.
