Downhill skiing or snowboarding your thing? The cottage is conveniently located between Caberfae Peaks (15 mi) & Crystal Mountain (25 mi).
Ice fisherman: bring your hard water gear here and head out on the lake via the deeded private frontage, 250 yards out your door. The cottage is in the small cove area, known for some of the best fishing on the lake. Seasonal boat dock with soft bottom, not good swimming. Distant view of the water. Great central location for hikers. Either Manistee River Trail or NCT / Fife Lake Loop are 25 min.
