Beautifully renovated 4 bedroom home! This captivating Cape Cod abode was built in 1934. The owners have endeavored to keep the spirit of "old world" charm alive, but at the same time adding the best of modern amenities and conveniences. All of this has been done to make your Oregon Coast Vacation as spectacular as possible. This place is the ideal venue for family reunions or corporate gatherings and is available year-round!
We invite you to enjoy the elegance of Anchor House, surrounded by impeccable ocean views from most rooms. Its dramatic spirit captivates you as you enter. You'll find a large living room complete with gas fireplace and a beautiful modern kitchen with all new appliances. There is an exit to the ocean-facing outdoor deck from the living area. This makes it easy to capture the vistas from a comfortable reading chair, or you can retreat outdoors and soak in the sun on one of the many lounges provided. Towards sundown it's wonderful to take it all in underneath stars and twinkling constellations. You'll be tempted to snuggle under a comfortable blanket with a relaxing glass of wine or your favorite cocktail. Adjacent to the deck is a dramatic pergola and swing combination with firepit (think 'smores)! to add to the experience. Super easy access directly to the beach is made possible by newly constructed concrete steps.
The main floor houses the primary bedroom with an ensuite bath, also containing a washer and dryer. With its king size bed and premium linens it's a sure fire favorite. Not too far up the stairs from the living room you will find two more bedrooms (king and queen) and a child's bedroom with trundle beds. We've included two "play 'n packs", toys, a high chair, baby monitor and childproof gates. The king bedroom encapsulates more ocean views and additional luxury linens. You'll also find a tidy workstation for letter writing or business correspondence. Each bedroom (upstairs and down) has its own TV and travel alarm, comfortable robes and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. All of the bathrooms at Anchor House are equipped with premium shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as a hair dryer and plenty of towels.
Now is the time to head downstairs for fun in the family room! With stairs just off the kitchen, you'll see kites to fly, a shuffleboard table, foosball table and ping pong table. Additional amenities include a large screen TV, bean bag chairs and comfortable sofa.. great for sleeping one. This is the perfect place for entertainment and movie nights! Just off the family room is a convenient bathroom with a tub and shower combination. A clothes dryer completes it... perfect for wet towels and bathing suits. There is a door leading outside from the basement for easy beach access via the stairs. Oh and did we mention a deluxe barbeque on the deck just off the kitchen? Well off course!
