Positive: We loved staying here. Modern, well-designed rooms adjacent to a gallery. Staff were so helpful, really made an effort to ensure we enjoyed the area. They sat down with us on the first morning to take us through the best way to navigate the forest parks. Most don’t speak much English but communication is easy through phone apps. We arrived late on the first day on the through train from Shanghai, the staff recommended we visit the nearby tourist attraction of 72 QiLou for dinner. We were a bit tired so they happily made us a meal to have in our room instead. The rooms are really comfortable with thoughtful design features that set them apart from standard hotels. We got a tour of the gallery before we left, the works use a novel mix of sand and stone and some are available to buy. We arranged pick up and drop off which is a great option as the geolocation for the hotel using this name is not correct.

Negative: Breakfast options were a bit limited due to a misunderstanding on my part when I was asked what we wanted. And had to use YanYuJian Art B&B destination on Didi, took a few minutes to sort that out but was fine after first time
