Summary: We enjoyed 5 nights at the Chateau (family of 4, plus 2 friends staying for 3 nights). Plenty of room for all of us; the chateau is ancient but there are modern touches inside; and it's located between two small cute towns (Le Bono and Plougomelen) that have most of what you need, with the beaches & islands of the gulf within 20 minutes' driving time. There is a wonderful nature hike from the property along the river into Le Bono - perfect for a healthy morning boulangerie outing. The one downside of the property is the bathroom arrangement: there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers, with one of each serving all 5 BR's upstairs; in addition, the showers are miniscule - which I guess serves the necessary purpose of getting people out quickly! Note also that the owner lives in the right half of the property (renters get the left half), and his family live in the surrounding outbuildings - which is totally fine, but not obvious from the description.
