A fully modernised farmhouse with PRIVATE SEASONAL OUTDOOR HEATED POOL which is open from May - September. Beautiful countryside location yet only a 10 min drive to supermarkets and 20 min drive from the stunning medieval town of Dinan.
Le Dragon is a fully modernised farmhouse set in the beautiful Brittany countryside, perfect for those relaxing holidays. It is fully furnished and has all the comforts of a home away from home. The house is has a lovely front garden with an outdoor heated pool and sunbathing area. There is also an outdoor dining area under the gazebo - perfect for those evening BBQs. There is a big grassed field in front of the garden with a goal post, basketball hoop, badminton and soft archery - enough to keep the kids amused!
The house is a perfect base to explor the surrounding area - the aquarium and walled town of St Malo, the castle and port of Dinan with its restaurants and river trips is a must, as well as the numerous beaches and lakes, just a short drive away!
Le Dragon has a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a breakfast bar seating 4. There is a spacious lounge with a dining table that seats 6, as well as comfy sofas and a flat screen tv with British and French tv and a huge selection of dvds - perfect to chill out in the evenings. We have free WIFI. There is a downstairs loo.
The farmhouse has been tastefully decorated and has quality linens and comfy beds! There are 3 upstairs bedrooms and a further bedroom/playroom on the top floor. On the first floor is the master bedroom which has a king size bed with its own en-suite and overlooks the gardens and pool. The second bedroom is a double and has plenty of storage and a fitted safe, this overlooks the two donkeys in the field next door. There is a large single bedroom with room for a cot. The family bathroom with shower and corner bath is also on this floor. On the top floor are a further 2 single beds and the play room with games console, football table, board games and books. There is a portable air condition unit too.
Outside there is a stone BBQ and an outside dining area under the gazebo - a lovely place to enjoy those warm evenings. The heated pool is set at a balmy 28 degrees so that it can be used, even on those cooler days, and is checked daily. The garden is fenced and there is a pool alarm. The front field is just the place for the kids to burn off all that excess energy while you relax by the pool.
Le Dragon is situated in the beautiful Brittany countryside. Our local village of Plumaudan is a lovely 30 min stroll, it has a bakery, mini market, bar, pharmacy and doctors surgery. We are a 20 min drive from the beautiful medieval town of Dinan, there is a bustling outdoor market every Thursday. The Port of Dinan is highly recommended for its restaurants and you can hire a boat and cruise the river Rance. St Malo is well worth a visit - you can walk around the battlements before you have lunch! There is also a sheltered beach there.

Le Dragon est une ferme entièrement modernisée située dans la belle campagne bretonne, parfaite pour des vacances reposantes. Elle est entièrement meublée et dispose de tout le confort d'un foyer loin de chez soi. La maison dispose d'un joli jardin à l'avant avec une piscine extérieure chauffée et un espace pour prendre des bains de soleil. Il y a également un coin repas extérieur sous le gazebo - parfait pour les barbecues du soir. Il y a un grand terrain engazonné devant le jardin avec un poteau de but, un panier de basket, du badminton et du tir à l'arc - de quoi amuser les enfants !
La maison est une base parfaite pour explorer les environs - l'aquarium et la ville fortifiée de St Malo, le château et le port de Dinan avec ses restaurants et ses excursions sur la rivière sont un must, ainsi que les nombreuses plages et lacs, à quelques minutes en voiture !
Le Dragon dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec tous les appareils modernes et d'un bar à petit-déjeuner de 4 places. Il y a un salon spacieux avec une table à manger pour 6 personnes, ainsi que des canapés confortables et une télévision à écran plat avec la télévision britannique et française et une grande sélection de DVD - parfait pour se détendre le soir. Nous disposons d'un accès WIFI gratuit. Il y a des toilettes au rez-de-chaussée.
La ferme a été décorée avec goût et dispose d'un linge de maison de qualité et de lits confortables ! Il y a 3 chambres à l'étage et une autre chambre/salle de jeux au dernier étage. Au premier étage se trouve la chambre principale qui dispose d'un lit king size avec sa propre salle de bain et qui donne sur les jardins et la piscine. La deuxième chambre est une chambre double avec de nombreux rangements et un coffre-fort, qui donne sur les deux ânes dans le champ voisin. Il y a une grande chambre simple avec de la place pour un lit d'enfant. La salle de bains familiale avec douche et baignoire d'angle se trouve également à cet étage. Au dernier étage se trouvent deux autres lits simples et la salle de jeux avec console de jeux, baby-foot, jeux de société et livres. Il y a aussi une unité de climatisation portable.
À l'extérieur, il y a un barbecue en pierre et un coin repas sous le gazebo - un endroit agréable pour profiter de ces soirées chaudes. La piscine chauffée est réglée à 28 degrés pour pouvoir être utilisée, même les jours les plus frais, et elle est contrôlée quotidiennement. La jardin est clôturée et il y a une alarme de piscine. Le terrain à l'avant de la piscine est l'endroit idéal pour que les enfants brûlent tout ce surplus d'énergie pendant que vous vous détendez au bord de la piscine.
Le Dragon est situé dans la belle campagne bretonne. Notre village local de Plumaudan est une belle promenade de 30 minutes, il a une boulangerie, un mini marché, un bar, une pharmacie et un cabinet médical. Nous sommes à 20 minutes en voiture de la belle ville médiévale de Dinan, il y a un marché en plein air très animé tous les jeudis. Le port de Dinan est fortement recommandé pour ses restaurants et vous pouvez louer un bateau et faire une croisière sur la Rance. St Malo vaut bien une visite - vous pouvez vous promener autour des remparts avant de déjeuner ! Il y a également une plage abritée.
