Makin’ Memories is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on Gulf of Mexico canal with open water access, terrific views and spectacular sunsets. Our home is located 20 miles east of Perry on Taylor County's pristine and undeveloped beautiful coastline. Keaton Beach is a small community, away from the city; a place to reconnect with one another and to the outdoors for a few days, weeks or longer. A place where you will make memories that will last a lifetime. Walk to pier/playground or bring your golf cart and ride around the friendly community. The local boat launch is only 3 minutes away from the house. There is plenty of parking for cars and trailers on the driveway. Bring your kayak or paddle board and take an excursion on the canal where you are sure to see eagles, egrets and occasional manatees in their natural habitat as you make your way to the Gulf. Our home offers a full kitchen with cookware & utensils, washer/dryer, TV and towels and linens available. This home is ideal for fishing, scalloping or boating in the Gulf of Mexico. Floating dock can accommodate two (16' - 18') boats or one large (20'-25'). Access the gulf from the canal (NOTE: This is NOT a deep water canal, use caution during low tide as it can be extremely low during certain times of the year. You will need to be aware of low tides/moon phases as at low tide there may be little (less than a foot) to no water). A fish cleaning table, charcoal grill and outdoor swing are on the ground level. The middle deck offers plenty of seating for morning coffee or evening conversations. Come enjoy some peace and quiet, great fishing and scalloping that the Big Bend area has to offer not to mention the breathtaking sunsets. NO PETS and NO SMOKING please. **NOTE: For security purpose, there is an exterior security camera on ground level, facing the dock/deck.
