Summary: The host was slow to respond or in one case didn’t respond at all. I used the VRBO message app. I had asked if I could checkin early and no response was provided. Host provided clear directions on how to get into the building but not in the apartment. That was really frustrating. Checkin was at 4 pm and I confirm I had gotten no additional emails nor messages at 4:30 pm. So I messaged the host on VRBO, tried VRBO help to get directions to get into apartment. I finally got the instructions at 5 PM. Overall apartment was fine but I didn’t recall the description saying that is was over a bar and next to a nightclub. The beats were thumping and it was very difficult to sleep until it stopped. But if you were a group out until 2 AM then this wouldn’t be a factor.
