It's just two of us here in our 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath suburban home. We live in Whitestown, a suburb of Indianapolis. The local high school is about 20 minutes away and there are university campuses spread all over the city. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the biggest university, IUPUI, which is in downtown Indianapolis. As far as amenities, restaurants, shopping and entertainments, walking and biking trails and parks are all nearby.
We have 2 guest rooms available, which are rented together, along with a private full bath. They are both on the second story. One is set up as a living room/office, and the other room has a king-size bed. My husband and I have our own bathroom, and of course there is a half bath on the main floor which can be used by anyone.
As far as shared spaces go, we have a loft on the second floor, which is a nice TV/hang out space. The laundry room is also on the second floor, with washer, dryer and utility sink. Street or driveway parking is available. Downstairs is all one open area, with a fully-equipped kitchen, eating area, and living room with fireplace. Outside we have a back patio with spaces for sitting and eating, and a gas grill. Our patio faces a small pond so we have a pleasant view. We also have a small bistro area on our front porch as well.
This room is currently an addition to the guest room with 1 king size bed. It has a loveseat, bistro set, desk and chair, kitchenette (not plumbed) w microwave and mini fridge.
