At nearby Plaza Spain, you'll have Metro (subway) station- "Praça de Espanha" -blue line- five stops to historic center.
Close by you have Gulbenkian Museum and Garden, The Lisbon Zoo, Lisbon Universities, Great Park Campo, Campo Pequeno, and Corte Ingles department store in Lisbon best with VAT deductable for non european visitors.
If you travel with kids the Lisbon Zoo is a must, and it's 15 minutes walking distance.
You are also at 10 minutes walking distance from Entrecampos station, the hub that provides connections (Metro- yellow line, buses and trains) to everywhere in Lisbon, Cascais or Sintra also. Lisbon's beaches are approximately 30 minutes away by train!
